:: WINDOW SHOPPING..ITS A GIRL THING ::

went window shopping with my sis juz now..yeah yeah i know..its wierd that i've been going out quite a lot wif my sis lately..well..its a sister bonding thing..we ought to improve our relationship..dats why..anyway..yan tagged along cos he wanted to buy his dicsman and returned my VCD and CD...

walked the whole stretch of town..in and out of shops..tried many2 clothes,dresses,skirts and watever...hah!walked till i cant walk anymore..(by the way..window shopping is a girl thing cos only after yan left that we get to roam every shop we came across freely..without having to care whether he'll be bored stiff or felt awkward being in the ladies section)



anyway..i was looking for 50s 60s clothing to complete my new wardrobe for the new semester actually...found quite a number of coolio and zenny stuff at topshop BUT if i were to buy them all..i'll be DEAD REALLY DEAD BROKE!!!....gonna continue my hunt for 50s 60s clothing...preferable at a more affordable prices yah....any suggestions????

:: AT FIRST THERE WERE 14::

After disappearing for almost a year...the PETOMs met again yesterday for HARI RAYA visiting.Every year the number just kept decreasing..from 14 to 12 and then 9.Oh well...some people just cannot make it.Anyway...it still went well i would say.Better than the last but it could have been better.

Still as kecohrable only less rushing (noid,the time-keeper was sick) and more together.wee~

From HTML codes to IP addresses to results and school system to minahs and convent girls..not forgetting irritaing bfs...well...dats just US..we talked about anything and everything!!!!

ok..my 2nd year,1st semester results are out...first look at it..."OUCH!!"..it hurts..it hurts reaaallll baaad...BUT....when u look at it the 2nd time around..well..actually its not that bad..

ahacks...this semester is the best so far...MIA-ed from skool for almost 2 months without any MC..lots of unsubmitted assignments..incomplete projects..never early..quarrelled with the apek..got caught watching movie in the library instead of going for tutorials...wee~...but i survived tru the semester having to repeat only 1 module..woot~am i lucky or wat?!?!!?...

But...hmm..how the hell did i passed those other modules...aahhh...fuck it lar!!...

Hmm...It started with Yan getting news about his NS recruitment and he wanted to go to Marina Bay cos its been quite long since he'd been there...so...from that day onwards...Yan and me had been doing lotsa exploring and travelling around Singapore...instead of just LEPAK at 718...and since most of the time its just me and him...we decided to self-proclaim ourselves as the Host of our OWN JELAJAH 647km2..[konon kite 2 ni mcm Khai ngan Suhaimi lah..muahhahaha]

1st Episode: Marina Bay

A quiet and serene place to chill BUT u've gotta equipped urself with food and drinks cos kedai jauh..and an umbrella..juz in case it rains...u won't get wet while finding a sheltered place...A good place to get drunk too cos u won't be disturbing ppl when u shout and sing loudly...muhahahahah...derz a playground with swings...wee~ and 2 abandoned underpass wif graffitis on the walls...

An alternative to the traditional Geylang Serai if u wanna look for cloth but don't favour the crowd...many ranges of beautiful songket and silk...can do lotsa shopping at BUGIS VILLAGE and PARCO BUGIS JUNCTION

There's a lot of shops to browse tru...lots of spectacle shops selling specs and contact lenses at cheap rates...old skool neighbourhood...shud explore the BESTWAY...cheap shirts...

It was Arts Appreciation day...we visited the Chair Exhibition at City Hall..opposite Eplanade..where the Merlion is...and walked along Boat Quay...

Initial plan was to go Sembawang Beach but the weather forbids..so we ended up at Chinatown...lotsa shops selling electronic stuff...then we walked to Clarke Quay...found out that the there's a Flea Market..shud go check that out...BUT only on Sundays ya and finally...last stop...ate cup noodles at Fort Canning Hill...[didn't explore much]

6th Episode: Chinese Garden

travelled to the other end of Singapore...visited the Science Center...hmm...nice place to visit after sooooo long...learned a lot there...shud go to the Omnimax theater too...provided u've got the cash...den proceeded to Chinese Garden...another quiet place full of trees...found another lepak spot...opposite the chinese restaurant...the place is equipped with bamboo tables and chairs...hahhaha...kewl~something different...but u've gotta bring ur own food and drinks..and the place is full of fish and tortoise...and is fucking creepy once it gets dark...oouuhh...spooky~

FINALLY im officially 18!! I know its kinda late...most of my frens reached 18 looong ago BUT...hey! who the hell cares...its ma birthday!!

Spent the entire 12 hours with my beloved 718 LEPAK CREW.12noon-12midnite.

Met at Admiralty..[ahackz...this is where we first met ya]..at 12noon..ok...ok..i was late BUT hey! its not every time that i get to be late u know..its ma birthday..muahhahahahah.Senyum couldn't make it..Ayap,Ilya and Yan turned up in long-sleeved shirts and shades...Fuh! Formal sey...SMART MAMAT...muahahhahahahah.The girls [Chuck and ME] turned up in our usual gear..jeans and tshirt. Haiya..y u guys never say wanna dress formal...kan style kalau SEMUA skali pakai shirts..tapi takpe..

Took the train to Orchard...met Man & In at Far East..

And so..the journey begins...Walked..surveyed shops...played snap-twist...walked..tried lotsa coats..discovered new and nice and pelik stuff.BASICALLY..we did wat we ALWAYS do every outing.YEAH...its ma birthday but we did nothing special BUT IT WAS FUN! Spending time with the LEPAK CREW is always FUN! Annnddd....3 of them took the day off from work just becos they wanna spend the day wif me! WOW! touching gitu kan...muahahhahaha

EVENING CAME...

proceeded to ESLANADE to eat BEN & JERRYS ice cream...its a tradition yah...BUT aint got the flavour i wanted sooo...we settled with RUM & RAISIN ice cream,Blueberry Cheesecake,Cadburry Choc Cookies..quite disappointed actually but aint gonna let BEN & JERRYS spoil ma BIG day.

Not only was i at home the WHOLE DAY..but i actually washed the dirty laundry which was overflowing from the laundry basket..ironed my pile of crumpled tshirts...vacuumed,mopped and cleaned my room which looks like the wreckage from a shipwreck..AND..helped mum prepared food for iftar.ALL was done willingly...muahhahahahahah...miracle isn't it??! proved that i am capable of being a good girl too..and as a reward...mom allowed me to smoke my SAMPOERNA INT MENTHOL..aaahhh...

Hari ini masuk hari ke 16 kita berpuasa. Ramai yang sudah mula sibuk membuat persiapan untuk hari lebaran. Saya dan kawan-kawan juga tidak terkecuali.

Petang tadi, saya , Yan dan Sri singgah di Kampung Jawa untuk membeli kain. Banyak sungguh pilihan yang ada.[we're spoilt for choice] Entah berapa banyak kedai kita singgah. Penat dan haus dibuatnya.

Orang perempuan sepatutnya lebih tahu tentang hal ehwal memilih dan membeli kain kerana kitalah yang sepatunya lebih pandai bergaya berbanding dengan kaun Adam TETAPI... saya dan Sri tidak boleh diharap lansung! Kita ibarat rusa masuk kampung tadi. Inilah padahnya kalau enggan mengikut mama membeli kain pada tahun-tahun yang lepas.Memalukan kaum Hawa sahaja.

Kalau tahun-tahun yang lepas..hal ehwal kain dan baju ni semua...mama yang uruskan tetapi tahun ini terpaksa cari dan jahit baju sendiri. Sudah dewasalah katakan...bila lagi mahu practice.Mujur Yan ikut serta. Dialah yang menjadi image consultant. Hahahhahahah. Setelah puas keliling seluruh Kampung Jawa...saya akhirnya membeli kain berwarna kuning keemasan untuk dipadankan dengan songket turun temurun warna merah pulasan [maroon] pemberian mama. [maroon and gold...great combination!!...thanks Yan! and the shopkeeper too!]

Tidak sabar menunggu siapnya baju raya itu nanti...confirm sweet macam budak kampung sebab songket tu old-skool. Tetapi macam tak kene dengan si pemakai. Hahahahahhahah..

Had TP paper at 2pm just now.Surprisingly...the paper was much much better than ACDA.Well...its not as if im confident of passing it but at least it wasn't as depressing as yesterday's paper.I might have a teeny weeny chance of passing..maybe..and all thanks to MARLBORO MENTHOL.Just found out last night that if you're used to smoking kretek ciggies all your life..once you smoked marlboro menthol...the feeling is damn shiok!!(siak ar..naik kepala sak!! setakat hisap separuh batang aku dah pening...hmm...maybe its just me ar..wakakkaka) But anyway...thanks to that i was able to study a bit and got all of what i studied inside my brain...BUT SAMPOERNA MENTHOL IS STILL MY FAV!!!

After that...Since we had lots of time to kill..Yan suggested taking 961 all the way from city hall back to woodlands.It was a bloody loooooonngggg bus ride.After effect:Sume jadi sewel.Yan suffered the worst.Siak ar!! Didn't lepakked with the lepak crew today.Spent my day at JB.Gi makan seafood kat Pantai Lido sempena hari jadi An.SEDAP sak!! MURAH pulak tu!! Ada Tom Yam Seafood,Ayam Black Pepper,Butter Prawn,Chap chye and of cos..nasi. (thanks An for the treat!!)

Met Botak look-alike kat kedai sebelah.Ish!! Lebih kurang sama sak muke die..cume he's fairer and Botak lebih sweet.He can pass off as adik Botak.Anyway..mula2..aku yg tertoleh-toleh kat blakang perhatikan die keje..cukup time..bile nak balik..si dek tu nga kat sebelah..tersenyum-senyum..aku pulak buat spoil.
Dgn tidak sengaja..aku terkomen .."Alamak..pendek ar!"..abeh..terkuat pulak tu.Buat malu sak!! Kesian die...he must be confused.Muahhahahahahhahah.Abeh dah gitu...aku yg menyesal sendiri.Ape saje lah saje.TAPI...Tak pe...gonna visit the place again..

Skipped school today as i wasn't in the mood and there ain't any important classes going on anyway.So...Slacked with the KROWNOZ AND KROWNIS as usual...@ wdlands. @ 12noon...b4 proceeding to 718 much much later.

The KROWNISes kept ourselves busy by
1)making stories using phrases from songs
2)drawing stuff all over our arms and legs..(eh!! dat was just me..hehhehe!!)
3)repairing a spoilt umbrella...making use of scrap materials like rubber bands,plastic bags and sticks...(it was Chuck's idea at 1st but we all helped)...and we managed to somewhat make it look like an umbrella
4)talk using poetry...(berpantun lah)..(we started it and ilya and yan were dragged in..hahhaha..)

The berpantun part was totally rubbish but we kinda enjoyed ourselves...hahahhahah...and we got carried away until we reached admiralty... hhahahahhaha...sumpah merepek...aanndd...today was my hari bodoh and selenge day...shhhhhh...dun want to tell u guys wat i did...hahahhaha
